Everyone should not take a calcium supplement. Should I think most people? Yes I do think most people should because I don't think, especially if you are lactose intolerant or do to religious beliefs you don't have milk and dairy products much, that can cause issues with your calcium intake, so I would say yeah. I would want you to take a calcium supplement. You don't really want to go more than about 500 milligrams per tablet because your body really can't absorb that much more than that. I don't recommend a calcium carbonate, but that's the cheapest one. If you go look at your product that you may have at home, odds are it's a calcium carbonate. Or if they're really smart, they'll just say elemental and they won't tell you the format it's in. You want a more see, calcium carbonate being chalk it doesn't really absorb well by the body because calcium is absorbed best under acidic conditions. I would look for a calcium citrate. That's a much more bio available or bio absorbable form of calcium, a little bit more expensive, but I think it's a better way to go. In terms of calcium for everybody, most people I do think it would benefit. Everyone, like I said, knows that it's good for your bones, teeth, what have you, but it's also very, very important and critical for muscle contraction and things like that. So calcium is the way to go.
