Here's how to play a D Sharp or E Flat Major Triad. I'm going to talk about it in terms of E Flat. We're going to take the three notes that make up the E Flat Major Triad by taking them from the E Flat Major Scale. Those notes are going to be the root, third and fifth notes of the E Flat Major Scale. Our first one, the root, is E Flat. Our second note, the third is G. And our third note, the fifth is B Flat. We can practice this by playing a two octave E Flat Major Triad. We're going to start with our E Flat first fret in the D String and then go down to pick our G, third fret on the E String. Now, we take the B Flat at the first fret on the A String and back to the E Flat. We can play our open G, B Flat, eighth fret on the D String and finally our high E Flat eigth fret on the G String. Here's the two octave E Flat Major Triad. And that's the E Flat Major Triad on the electric bass.
