My name is Barbara Esses and I do events for a living. I'm Ruthie Hecht; I'm an event planner and I work with and for my mother. We're going to teach you the do's and don'ts for the perfect wedding. On your wedding day, anything can go wrong. And, of course, a bridal freak at the most if it's her wedding dress. Sometimes the zipper breaks, sometimes someone spills red wine on you and the worst is when your aunt gets the lipstick on your boosty eye. So, here are a few tips to keep around. Have white out. You might think that you want to dab it with water. But, that's always a bad idea. Cover it up, cover it up, and no one will see. They'll be looking your shining face. Definitely keep around a needle and thread, and have somebody there who knows what they are doing. It could be your maid-of-honor and it could be a dresser who you hired from your local wedding store. Either way, know that there's somebody you should count on, in case a rad equipments man steps on your veil and rips it in half. Some items to make sure to keep around scissors, needle and thread, white-out and Elmer's glue. Also, there are lots of bridal emergency kits available and, usually, they have them in there. No bridal gown could be expected to have survive walking the grass or through city streets. Be prepared! Put a sheet or a towel underneath you when you start for pictures, and you'll be able to avoid some of those mishaps. Needle and thread, and white-out can save most things on a wedding day. But, just in case they can't, don't worry! They'll all be looking at your face, not your dress.
