So now lets go for the basic hip drop. Lets shift the weight over to the left foot, step the right right in front, keep the heel lifted. Bend both knees, especially the bend in this knee- you want to make sure this knee remains bent no matter what throughout the entire movement. This is the most important part. Step the other foot right in front, heel lifted, chest up, shoulders back, stretch your arms all the way out. Make sure your still breathing when your here. Now we are going to push our weight into the right leg, straightening a teeny teeny bit to go into the hip lift. Now from here your going to release all the way dropping the hip down. Again lifting up and down, up and down. And no matter what the left leg is staying bent. The left knee remains bent no matter what. And up and down and up. And lets try that with music. And double temp. And faster. And again make sure your not bouncing up down in space. The head remains at the same level. The chest is lifted and isolate it away from the rest of your body. And thats how you do a basic hip drop.
