Hi, I'm Tim Phang. I'm 23 years old. I've been skating for about 12 years. I'm from Arlington, Virginia which is right outside of Washington, D.C. I'm now sponsored by Universal Skate Design, and I'm going to be talking to you about rollerblading. The dangerous rollerblading stunts are those when the individual is pushing himself beyond what they are potentially capable of. So pretty much everything you do in rollerblading can be dangerous. Specially flips, large drops. Basically the bigger the obstacle you are trying your trick on, the more dangerous it is. It's also extra risk when you come to the place like state park when other people around you have to make sure that you are aware of your surroundings and also know that there are other people who might not be aware of their surroundings so always watch what you are doing. Be careful not to trick on the rocks, those kind of things. In rollerblading you can pretty much do any trick on anything, the bigger the obstacle the more dangerous the trick. So 20 stair handrail verses 10 stair handrails; 20 stair handrails are probably more dangerous. Some of the worst injuries happen when you are not paying attention to what you are doing. Generally when you are doing hard tricky focus and you are almost ready to fall, but when you are just rolling around the skate part and you are not prepared for someone to come up behind you, running you from a strange angle that's when the bad injury occur.
