To do this, hit the BlackBerry menu button and click Manage Connections. Then hit the Wi-Fi option. You'll know it's on when you see a check mark, the red X has turn into a white line, and it says "on." Step 5: Set up address book Set up your address book by clicking on it and then clicking "New Contact." After you have filled in the information, save. You can access this contact information at any time by going back to the address book. Step 6: Set up e-mail Sync an e-mail account with your BlackBerry using the BlackBerry desktop software or PocketMac. Follow the on-screen instructions to sync an existing account. Step 7: Send a message Send a text message or e-mail by rolling the trackball to messages. Choose whether the message will be a text or picture message, or an e-mail. Type the message, choose a recipient, and hit "Send." Step 8: Browse the web To start browsing the web, use the trackball to go to the applications menu. Click the Browser icon.
