Step 1: Make soapy water Squeeze a squirt of dishwashing liquid into a sink or bucket of warm water. Tip Never use abrasive cleaners, as they could scratch the chrome. Step 2: Dip the cloth Dip the cloth in the soapy water and wash your chrome item. Tip Don't wash chrome in greasy dishwater, or you'll end up with a greasy film that will burn if heated. Step 3: Use a toothbrush An old toothbrush will help you clean hard to reach places. Step 4: Dry with paper towels Use paper towels to wipe the item dry. Step 5: Use chrome cleaner If there are still stains or dirty areas, use a cleaner made for chrome or soft metals, following instructions on the packaging. Now your chrome will twinkle like new.
