Trace Element Analysis of Geological, Biological & Environmental Materials by Neutron Activation Analysis: An Exposure's Full Profile
This course is offered during the Independent Activities Period (IAP), which is a special 4-week term at MIT that runs from the first week of January until the end of the month.This course introduces students to the technique of instrumental neutron activation analysis. This is a non-destructive analytical technique for the determination of elemental abundances attrace levels in a wide variety of geological, biological, environmental and industrial samples.
