Small classes and good professors; a small campus that feels like home; and a good sense of community.

Adrian is a private school that is able to give you a good education. You are able to get one-on-one help from professors because of the size but the campus is set up to give you a larger campus feel, That includes having theme houses, greek houses, and get sports games.

It has great professors and it is small, so you really get to know your professors and you can get one on one help. Also, because it is small you get to know a lot of people and you will make a lot of friends. If a person is into sports then they should go to Adrian because you will know all the athletes and there is almost always a sporting event going on.

They do everything they can to help lower the prices, the classrooms are smaller, you can get more one on one time with your professors

The top three reasons to attend Adrian would definitely have to be the Liberal Arts opportunities, the many options for sports and the easy ability to play since it's only D3, and lastly the small classroom sizes, with the small classes you're professor will actually know who you are and you definitely get a more intimate learning environment from that.

1) Small class sizes, meaning more opportunities to get one-on-one help from your professors. 2) Small community. Coming form someone who went to a graduating class size of 52, I did not want to be overwhelmed by the campus community like any state college, I wanted to fit in. 3) Branching off the last comment, no matter what type of person you are, there is always going to be someone you can relate to at Adrian College. Always.

I think everyone has different reasons for why they chose to be an Adrian College Bulldog. The first reason someone should choose to attend Adrian College is because we have so many great resources available on campus to improve the college experience. We have the Institute of Study Abroad where students can study abroad almost anywhere in the world and gain skills and knowledge that cannot be taught in the classroom. Dr. Robin Bott, who is in charge of study abroad, is phenomenal and helps students get their study abroad plan together. She also checks up on students while they are away and sometimes even travels with them. Adrian College also has the Institute of Career Planning where students can go in and set up internships, job shadowing, and even helping them get a resumé together. Adrian College also offers Drop-In Tutoring for every subject. Students can go to a the meeting place where tutoring is held and ask questions and get the help they need at any time during the week. Also, Adrian's library is open every day from early in the morning to late at night. Adrian College also offers great facilities for athletes. On campus, the majority of the student body plays a sport. Our fitness center just got a new addition that has tripled our space to work out and condition in. The performance gym, ice rink, and stadiums are state of the art and also improve the college experience for all of Adrian's athletes. Secondly, not only do we have great resources, but Adrian's campus life and activities are amazing. As I mentioned in the first question, Adrian College always has something going on. Whether it's sporting events, comedy nights, concerts, or game night, students can always find something to do. The third reason why someone should go to Adrian College, is because we offer programs and academic departments that's superior to other colleges. For example, although we are a four year college, Adrian offers Graduate Programs. Student's have the opportunity to earn a Master's Degree in 5 years in Accounting, Athletic Training, Criminal Justice, and Industrial Chemistry. Our Undergraduate Programs are also incredible and Adrian offers a lot of programs, but it's nice that students can also earn a Master's Degree from Adrian College in addition to the Baccalaureate Degree. Furthermore, Adrian College has a handful of Pre-Professional Programs such as Pre-Architecture, Pre-Art, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Health, Pre-Health Science, Pre-Law, and Pre-Seminary.

1.) College Matters - the purpose of a college education is to prepare you for the adult world and for becoming an involved contributor of this society. Here at Adrian you can expect an exceptional education with a depth of knowledge to bring to any career. Being a liberal arts college, they encourage a broad range of exposure in the subjects and fill your tool belt. The small class sizes give you more personal attention and keep you actively participating.

2.) We Have Moxy - Whether it's pushing yourself in your sport and trying to get that upper ninety shot down, or studying hard to do well on your next chemistry quiz, it is evident across the campus that we have drive. Collectively as a student body we are constantly pushing ourselves to the next level, chasing our dreams. The hard work and dedication of other individuals here is inspiring and creates an environment for continuous personal growth and ignites determination.

  1. Charachter - Our first semester here, we analyzed the brilliant speech called, "This is Water," by David Foster Wallace. He challenges us to think about why we are really here. Is it to get in and out as fast as possible, start your career, look out for your own wants and incentives, disregarding others? Wallace states that, "The real value of a real education has almost nothing to do with knowledge and everything to do with simple awareness of what is so real and essential, so hidden in plain sight all around us..." This rings true to Adrian College's mission. So yes, dream big, go for that executive position. Set yourself up for success and take the steps necessary to get you where you want to be in life. But don't lose touch with your humanity. Don't get stuck in a self-absorbed default way of processing things. Possess empathy and be aware of your surroundings. Leave this college being a better individual to the world beyond just the textbook.
