Which 3 extracurricular activities at Belvidere North High School are most popular? Which extracurriculars would you recommend?

Belvidere North High School offers a wide verity of extracurricular activities some more popular than others. When I hear students talk about the extracurricular's they are in, the most common answer is sports, National Honor Society, and student council. It's hard for me to narrow down just three extracurricular activities. However, I would pick English National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and Best Buddies. I may be biased because I am currently in all of those clubs. Everyone is familiar with the sub types of National Honor Society, but Best Buddies is new to my high school. Best Buddies is a nation wide program to integrate special education students into everyday life in our high school, and I am proud to say I have been involved in Best Buddies since it came into our high school last year. Hands down I would have to recommend these clubs to anyone new or old at my school.

The three most popular extracurricular activities at Belvidere North are National Honor Society, Blue Crew, and DECA. National Honor Society at my school is a group that every one wants to be a part of. The main reasons are that it looks really good on college applications and the club offers many field trip/volunteer opportunities. Blue Crew is a student lead organization that is also called the "Super fans". This group of students goes above and beyond at all sporting events to support out teams. They dress up, paint themselves, and organize themes of the games. They make the sporting events a really fun time to be a part of. DECA is another group in the school that people like to be a part of for reasons similar to those of National Honor Society. However, this club is focused around competing in competitions dealing with all aspects of the business world. I recommend any of these extracurricular activities to prospective students and current students alike.
