Yes i would recommend attending Tottenville to anyone to be honest, in the beginning it is scary because it is so big and you can get lost for a week or more trying to find your way around, but once you get used to it and get involved then it becomes more of a family and a team. People work together as teams on and off the field and in the classrooms. It has a ton of opportunities that other schools just don't have. They strive for success at my school in life and in college, and that is exactly what happens for the students.

I believe that choosing to enroll in Tottenville really depends on what program path you take. I have been in a program known as the Humanities Institute which consists only of 160 students in a high level of academic classes. I was restricted from electives and other courses I wanted to take due to my full schedule. I believe that I would have had a better experience if I had more freedom to choose courses based on my interests. However, Tottenville High School represents itself as a "family" and I have made many friends and felt comfortable approaching the teachers and other faculty if I needed assistance.
