The type of students who should not attend Boca Ciega High School is the students that has no interest in the programs they offer. Students that are not interesting having a career in the medical field or in JROTC is not a school for them. Students should attend schools that help them in their future plans so they can have a better understanding of a field and advance their education on that subject.
Generally the type of student that would not find a place at Boca Ciega would be one with no motivation or a learning disability such as Dyslexia. We have all the resources you need if you're just a normal person, however, if you have no motivation or are not able to learn the "normal" way (meaning just having things drilled into your head) you probably should not go. It's actually a good idea to leave the public school system all together if you have a learning disability.
All students who want to attend BCHS, should. This i a valid response due to the fact that the school has the potential to take even the most unmotivated student and make them successful. Every teacher genuinely cares and that's a quality necessary for success of any kind.
While many students fully value their education, there are others who do not. Students that disregard the value of their education are often disruptive in class, skip school, and are disrespectful to students and staff. They are uninterested in expanding their academic skills. A student that falls under this criteria should not attend Boca Ciega High School. Boca Ciega is a place where all students should feel safe and that everyone is there to better themselves.
Boca Ciega accepts all types of student but they do have policis to follow and will not allow violence. If that is the type of student you are, you will be welcome but there will be consequences for acting out.
Someone who doesn't care about their education. People go to school to learn and not to mention that school is free, paid by taxpayers. It would be a shame to waste tax dollars on someone who doesn't care about their future when there are other students who cannot even go to school.
A person who shouldn't attend Boca Ciega High School is a person who isn't up for a challenge, and he/she suspects to do nothing to earn something. Also if that person is not committed to being a pirate and interested in the social community at the school they shouldn't expect to enjoy there high school experience.
