Students who are looking to coast should choose another college. Programs at City Tech are difficult and demand a great deal of work. Our programs are very different from those at liberal arts colleges. We are preparing students for employment, largely in high-tech, healthcare, IT and business fields, often requiring licensure or certification. On the other hand, the reward is high. 95% of our graduates are either employed or pursuing another college degree within 6 months of graduation. And, according to PayScale, a company that studies compensation, our associate degree students have the highest average mid-career salary of any college in the U.S. So, if you know what you want to do and are willing to work for it, City Tech could be just what you are looking for. If you want just a traditional liberal arts education and don't have a goal in mind, we are not the best choice for you.
