I would definitely recommend attending Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School. It is definitely a challenging school but it all pays off in the end. It prepares you for college and teaches you time management. When graduates return, they always agree that attending this school was the best thing that they could have done because they were so prepared for college.

If you have the choice to go to JCIB I would take the opportunity. While at JCIB you get the opportunity to earn an IB diploma not a normal Alabama high school diploma. This diploma will let colleges know where you went and the hard work it took to get this diploma. IB also prepares you for college which will help you in the long run.

I would recommend going to JCIB if you are a student who cares about their education and is willing to do a lot of work such as Extended Essays (4000 words), Internal Assessments for most of your classes, orals for your foreign language and English class, etc.
