  • The Size Olivet, in my opinion is the perfect size for me as a relational extrovert. It is large enough that I can meet a new person every single day and small enough that I know at least half of the people that I pass when walking to class. I love that I can walk into the cafeteria and always find someone I know to sit with and chances are there will be a new person sitting with them that I can meet.
  • The Atmosphere The community and the staff and students that make it up are phenomenal. The first time I visited Olivet I felt like I was finally coming home. The people that you encounter while you go there will most likely make you feel that way too.
  • The Mission Statement Their goal is to provide "Education With a Christian Purpose" and they stay true to that. Before most classes most professors will start the class with a short prayer or devotional. We have chapel twice a week and it us usually amazing. You can feel the love of Christ pouring out from all aspects of the campus.

  1. The staff don't treat you like another grade. They care and try to help you succeed. If you feel lost or overwhelmed they can help you feel things are under control.
  2. The campus is beautiful. We have a rock wall and a hot tub, there's always something to do. And wait until you see the Mastodon skull in the science department. It is too cool!
  3. Olivet can be a home-away-from-home... if you want it to be. Yeah, some of the rules can seem silly, and we're not a party school by no means, but the experience is what you make of it. For ever flaw we have just as many good qualities. It's a great place with decent people and a lot of heart.
