Will I graduate college? What if I’m an international student?

This is a rarely asked question. Once you have a clear understanding of why students leave a school, find out why they stay. What are the personalities of students who successfully navigate the waters at each school on your list? Do they match your personality? Is the school able to provide you with this information? My guess is that many schools cannot. But you have the right to ask this very important question.

What is the profile of the international student who is successful? Compare this information for all of the schools on your list.

If you already are at a college, you will want to work closely with your academic advisor to help you navigate your college courses. If you are concerned about mental health issues, please be in touch with the counseling center on your campus that offers free help. Also, your campus should have an office that deals with international students directly. There are lots of people on campus who want to help you graduate, but you need to ask for the help. I wish you all the best.
