A typical Northridge High School student is undoubtedly from the South. The girls wear yoga pants and want to be in the Civinettes and the boys drive trucks and take the football games maybe a little too seriously. Academics is very important at Northridge and it is considered and honor to be inducted into the All-Academic Team (an organization whose members have all scored a 30 or higher on the ACT). The students are fun-loving, determined, and have the potential to be great. Like any school, Northridge has its flaws, but overall, it is a spirited school with an educated and intellectual student body.

A typical day at Northridge consists of getting to school at around 8:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; and at 8:50 on Wednesdays. We have a block schedule which means you have only four classes each day that last for 90 minutes, every other day you will have 4 different classes (we call them Green, and Gold days). The type of person that should attend Northridge is someone who has enough discipline to come to school with all their homework done even though it was assigned two days ago and you have had time to forget about it.
