Alhambra is a college-going high school, so the type of person that should attend Alhambra is one that is ready to learn and earn good grades, and be on track to graduate. Alhambra students are very active around school and join many clubs and sports.

The people in Alhambra don't have a specific race or look. We do out best to get along with each other even if we believe different things or even if we look different than others. we try to be nice to everyone and treat everyone as equals.

outgoing, likes to join all the new clubs, and joins certain activites outside their comfort zone. Gets into ap classes to get a feeling of what it is like in college and to get extra credit for college as well. Study long endless hours for ap tests to get a five if not a four. To also try to be at school every day and stay out of trouble and fights so you dont get arrested and ruin your reputation for what future colleges might think of you.

The typical student is of Asian or Hispanic/Latino descent due to the unique culture of the 626 area code Alhambra is located within. Although it is difficult to unite all students here with a common interest, many of Alhambra's students have a good amount of school spirit. Partly contributed by the extremely involved ASB and the excitement of school events, many students love to gather at lunch to witness events like promposals, talent tuesdays, etc. Many students are also academically driven due to the socio-economic background of mainly minority parents. Students at Alhambra understand the struggle to be in the lower-middle classes, which does facilitate competition academically for those who are in pursuit of better lives for themselves and their families.

The typical Alhambra High School student is not a happy camper.

If its a boy, he will talk about things he will never get done and dream but never talk to girls he feels are the one. He will earn many achievements he doesn't deserve and get good grades on tests that he never earned. He will gain weight from eating too many fatty cafeteria foods and lose dignity when he slips in the restroom. He will claim to be fed up with life while doing homework at 1:00 a.m. but then forget about it until it happens again!
