I would recommend attending Mingus Union High School if I had the choice. Mingus students are supported by counselors who meet regularly with individuals and provide information about college or military and community service opportunities. The teachers ensure students can have help with after school tutoring and library resources. Overall, it is easy to succeed at Mingus Union High School.

I would recommend Mingus Union high school to most anyone. Mingus teachers work hard to give their students a good education in a comfortable and efficient environment. In addition, Mingus has great programs to get you on your feet and ready for your college and/or working careers, such as: auto, art, welding, drama, and dual enrollment opportunities. I have found that the teachers, staff, and counselors are always willing to help and even guide you to the right path for college. I'm glad I chose the beautiful campus full of respectful and intelligent people.

It would be my first choice to recommend to somebody. The teachers really care about students and go out of their way to make sure you succeed. Administration keeps in touch with you to make sure you are on track. If you fall behind your teachers and counselors try their hardest to get you caught up. There are tutoring programs after school available to all students and transportation home is provided. The arts are huge here too. Our AP art program makes up 10% of the total students enrolled in Arizona's AP art. Our theater program also won best in state. There are tons of colleges that try recruiting from Mingus and from day one you are helped by your counselors to start your trek to college. The students are wonderful and it is super easy to make friends. We are more like a community and everyone knows each other. Plus, who wouldn't want to go to a school with that amazing view of the red rocks in Sedona?
