The beauty of Edinboro University is that we do not have a "typical student" and that is something that makes Edinboro very unique. First, Edinboro has an outstanding Art Department. We have hundreds of art students, whose concentrations range from animation and photgraphy, to the more traditional fine arts, such as painting and sculpture. Our most recent claim to fame is that one of our Art alums worked on the Disney animated film "Frozen". Furthermore, Edinboro University has many students with disabilities, and our Office for Students with Disabilities recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. Edinboro is very accommodating of its students with disabilities and provide an excellent academic and social experience for all students on campus with its efforts. Edinboro also has many athletes. We have 17 intercollegiate sports. We are Division-II in all of our sports aside from wresting. We are Division-I in wrestling and finished 3rd at Nationals last year- a personal best for the Univeristy's program. Edinboro also has an outstanding wheelchair basketball team that is nationally renowned. Edinboro is a campus full of many different students with different interests and backgrounds, but no matter the student, everyone is sure to find their niche here.
