I think one reason would be that not everyone can afford to go too a four year university and FVTC is cheaper but you still get a good education. If you want to meet new people that live close by FVTC is a good choice. and if you want a good education that gets you closer to getting your dream job FVTC is your choice.

If they want to transfer into a bigger university, but want to be taught by actual professionals or have hands on experience. If someone wants to skip the two years of general education classes before they actually start learning about their major, or if you want to have a hands on job instead of working in an office all day long.

I think one reason would be cost I think FVTC is very cost affiant. Its close by for most if the students so the drive isn't to bas. And the staff they have their are a lot of help with getting where you need to be in life.

Good instructors who can teach you your profession; nice atmosphere in the college, that is why attending classes is more pleasure than duty and really great facilities (labs, rooms, computer stuff and so on), especially if you do not have similar stuff in your house ;)

I go there because it is affordable. They also have quality of instruction. The classes from the college transfer to a number of 4 year schools.
