My GPA is a 2.0 and I scored a 25 on the reading section of the ACT. Even with my low GPA is there still a chance of me getting accepted? I have already been online to see the requirements but I am still weary of my acceptance. Also I am a high school senior.

Hi there! There's no way to know for sure whether or not you'll get in, but your GPA won't necessarily disqualify you, especially because you still meet the school's minimum GPA requirement. Your ACT score is above average for the incoming freshman class at Southern University and A&M College, and with the right essay and recommendation letters, it is indeed possible that you could be accepted. My advice would be to keep your grades up and focus on making the other parts of your application as strong they can be. Also, if you feel there is a particular reason that your GPA is low (not that there has to be – but if you went through a difficult experience or feel that you were struggling with something in particular that affected your grades), that could be something to address in your essay or in your letters of recommendation.

Hope this helps, and best of luck!
