Which 3 extracurricular activities at Carlsbad High School are most popular? Which extracurriculars would you recommend?

The most popular activities in our school would be volleyball, speech and debate, football. I would recommend speech and debate because our school is ranked in the top 10% in California.

The three most popular extracurriculars include ASB, Track & Field, and our volunteering clubs. I would recommend track & field because of its ability to push your limits while simultaneously making new friendships, helping others, and staying fit.

Baseball, Softball and Band/Colorguard. I recommend band you learn to read music and play instruments and learn choreography.

At Carlsbad High School there are an abundance of extracurricular activities to pick from. The most popular seem to be Football, ASB, and clubs during lunch. Football is the most popular on campus--along with other sports--because almost the entire school goes to the football games and displays a unified effort to have school spirit. ASB remains popular with students as well, since they are in charge of organizing events on campus to allow students to participate in events and show their school spirit. Spirit days range from tacky tourist day to a black out game for Football or other sports. These students in ASB also determine the themes for school dances and planning senior activities. The clubs on campus offer students an opportunity to explore interests outside of the classroom and are available to check out during lunch. Some clubs are fairly new or have been established for many years, and if a student does not see one they like they can talk to the administration about creating a new club. There are a lot of clubs to pick from and include: Juggling Club, Best Buddies, Asian Pacific Student Union, GSA, French Club, Spanish Club, Diversity of World Cultures Club, Robotics Club and many more. I would recommend playing a sport and joining a club because you get to meet a variety of different people and make friendships outside of class.
