Will I have to go through nursing school first to be a Physician's Assistant for a Dermatologist?

It is not necessary, nor is it recommended, to complete a nursing program if you wish to become a physician assistant, or PA. A PA program will take you on a more direct route to your career goal than will any nursing or pre-med program. While there may be certain science classes, like Anatomy and Physiology, that are common to nursing and physician assistant programs, these professions have different curricula, including clinical rotations, that must be followed accordingly.

Good luck!
