The professors are fantastic. Being a smaller school the student to faculty ratio is lower and it definitely shows. The best classes are with less students and the teacher can interact and get to know all the students. It's also a beautiful campus, with great resources and opportunities.

Northwest is a place where you can easily make friends that will be with you the rest of your life. The community at the university is small and therefore tightly knit. Because it is a small school, students and professors mentor like relationships, I can't think of a professor I have had that didn't know my name by the end of the first month of class. Finally, Northwest provides many internships and opportunities outside of school. Our reputation allows us to work alongside professionals in the Seattle and Bellevue area.

First, the atmosphere in the surrounding Kirkland area is great, if you have never lived in the Seattle area it is a must. Second, the education is top notch. Yes the classes may be strenuous, but they educators are only preparing the students to be the best that they can be. Lastly, the relationships. Seattle people may have a bad reputation for not being the most friendly people, but that's only because they are all a little east in Kirkland.

Kirkland is a beautiful location, it's small enough that you feel like you know everyone but large enough to meet all of your needs and it's just ridiculously awesome.

First of all, the community at Northwest is very good. Because it's a small school, you get to know a lot of people quickly (if you so choose), and get many opportunities to grow those friendships, as you see those people often on a daily basis. Second, the professors at Northwest are by and large very good. They are both knowledgable and professional, and are able to teach in an effective and interesting manner for the students. Finally, the spiritual focus of the school is also very good, if one is wanting to go to a private, Christian university.
