Football, debate and basketball are the most popular. I would recommend those 3 and also the math club. They all provide students a chance to grow and learn more about their peers.

Well, I would say that all of our most popular activities are the sports, with boys' football as number one, boys' basketball second, and girls' volleyball for third. I would not personally recommend any of these except maybe basketball, because I'm a nerd and can count on my fingers the number of times I've actually attended any of these events. However, our band is phenomenal, and quiz bowl is the best.

The three extracurricular activities I was involved with where the student newspaper, Student Youth Leadership, and the Science Club. I was involved with the newspaper for three years and enjoyed writing articles every month on things happening around my high school. Student Youth Leadership was a one semester long class, it taught me how to be a better person and serve in my community! Lastly I was involved in Science Club for 2 years and loved performing science experiments in elementary school settings and learning from my peers the other things chemicals can create! Some activities I would recommend would have to be the Feminism club because it teaches boys and girls how to be equal in our society and also looking at the differences in today's society. Another thing to defiantly try to be involved with would have to Link Crew, Youth Ambassadors, Peer Tutors, and National Honor Society. I wasn't apart of those groups because they take certain applications from students. I only applied for one year because I did transfer to Inver Hills Community College my senior year as a PSEO student. I was not eligible for these academics.

The top three extracurricular activities at Hastings High School would have to be pretty much any sport, Youth in government, and Gay straight alliance. I personal would recommend Youth in Government, due to the fact it provides many opportunities for growth as a teen.
