How do I find out my credit score, especially if I don't have any credit cards the moment?

Thanks for asking your question on Noodle! Generally, we do not offer financial advice as the site is dedicated to helping people find and pursue education opportunities. I'm not an expert on this subject by any means, but I found a few resources that may be helpful to you.

It looks like you are entitled to one free credit report per year. There are a variety of ways to get your report but the simplest may be to do it online. You may also want to buy a FICO report as it shows other information about your credit history that lenders may see.

If you have trouble setting up an account with these sites without providing a credit card number, I would suggest calling their help lines. Another option is to visit your bank or a local lender, explain your situation and get referred to a place that offers free or affordable credit scores.

I hope that helps a little bit. Best of luck!
