I would recommend attending Troy High School if a student had the choice because no matter what major or career they are interested in pursuing the teachers and coaches at the school are passionate about what they teach and are all more than willing to work with students and provide them with any opportunity that will help them reach their goals.

I believe Troy High School is right for people who understand how to properly study, and is not afraid to fail. At Troy, failure is bound to occur at some point for many students, whether it is a bad test grade, or a bad grade in a class overall. These failures help Troy students to grow, and learn from their mistakes, and this demonstrates a kind of maturity that many people do not really experience until later in their life. Troy should be for students who are truly motivated, and will not quit halfway through because it seems too difficult to succeed.

I did have a choice whether or not I attend my school. It was between Troy High School and the lA. Every student who goes to the International Academy chose to be here and I think that that means something. It is true that it is a difficult school but it prepares you for college and teaches you to THINK instead of just to memorize. I have personal bonds with all of my teachers and I love every minute of being here.

I would absolutely recommend attending Troy High School to anyone if I had the choice. At Troy, the teachers are dedicated to helping students learn and grow as people. The myriad of extracurricular activities and clubs is extensive and convenient for people who want to fit in. Through my three years there, I have noticed that there are every different type of people who constantly break stereotypes--there are smart athletes, kind popular kids who do not talk smack behind backs, and perfectly non-dorky band kids. There are creative people who blend well with mathletes and very little drama.

Fortunately, I have seen little to no bullying and feel that Troy is a safe school for anyone who wants to learn and grow.
