At Johnson & Wales University, it feels like home from the minute you step on campus as everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I'm originally from Northern California and attend JWU Providence Campus; however, I have met people from Southern California, New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, Cancun, the list goes on! Lastly, you will be getting a great education with plenty of services that students should take advantage of since they are included in our tuition such as Career Services, Innovation Lab, Center for Academic Support, Entrepreneurship Center, etc!

There are so many reasons a student should attend JWU. One being that the people here are so inviting and welcoming. When I first came here, I felt connected to these people that I did not know! Another reason is because the academics are very strong and the professors are currently working in their industry. Lastly, we also get a lot of hands on experience whether it be in Culinary Labs or Advertising classes, we are able to jump right into our major and work in real time, rather than sitting in large lectures.

This question is easy to answer there are plenty of majors and concentration available and growing. Its a private univeristy without the extreme cost and JWU providence has two parts that makes it whole; it downcity campus with easy access to tons of resturants and shops in the city and its harborside campus near the bay with the culinary buildings and a slightly more surburban feel.

They are a private university located in the downtown area of Providence Rhode Island. If you like a city atmosphere and being able to walk to different areas of the city for classes, you will love JWU. There are students from all over New England and Mid-Atlantic who attend; you get to meet new friends and acquaintances. The education at JWU is top notch.
