The National Art Honor Society has its record amount of members this year reaching around a count of 80, and I also happen to be the secretary of the club. I highly recommend participating in this club because it focuses on giving to the world through creativity as well as through fundraisers by selling handcrafted items. Its main goal is to make our society a more colorful and positive place for all to live in.
The Key Club has also reached its record count of members this year, which of I am the editor. This is wonderful to be a part of as well due to the amount of volunteering and fundraising that is involved for any group in need including animal shelters, homeless shelters, and even hospitals and senior citizen housing, but it does not end there as the club continues to find new ways to help.
The final most popular extracurricular is the National Honor Society. This group does similarly to that of the Key Club while finding its own creative ways to give to the community, for example the stuffed stockings that many members made to send to less fortunate children.
All three extracurriculars also do well in keeping up with the communication of the members by meeting often after school as well as through social media and text. We all become a big group of good friends and work as a team to help our society thrive today and in the years to come.

The three most popular extracurricular activities at South Central are: Think Pink, Elevate, and HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America). Think Pink is an easy club to join that raises awareness and supports research for breast cancer. Elevate is a club that many people join because it does not require any fundraising because it just promotes a positive and encouraging environment at South Central. HOSA is another popular club because of the excellent health science program South Central has to offer and they compete in competitions that relate to health science fields. My favorite extracurricular activity is National History Day club. Participants create historical projects that answer a question in the form of a display, essay, play, or paper, and compete at regional, state, and national levels. The librarian and a social studies teacher help students research and put the project together over the course of a year.
