There are many reasons as to why a person should attend MCC but if I had to choose 3 top reasons, the first reason would be for the affordable tuition price. Anyone can major in something that a university offers for a fraction of the price of any university's tuition. The second reason would be for the class size. Classes at MCC are intimate and small enough for professors to be able to learn their students' names and is always there when they need help. And the third reason why a person should Attend MCC is the resources that are always there when needed. Any and every faculty member at MCC is always happy and willing to help students. At a university, a student would have to move from office to office because faculty pass jobs done to the next person rather than handling the situation and helping the students that are in need.

The teachers and faculty care. I know every school says that and many students say that, but here, the faculty really does care. They understand people are going to work and school full time, they understand that things happen in life that we cannot control so we might not be able to make it to that class, they understand the frustration of wanting everything to be perfect and still having a social life. The best part? They understand, but don't ease up. They push you and test you and make sure your time management skills are impeccable by the time you graduate.

Since it is a community college, there's always a plus side. You save money. The great thing is, they just lowered the tuition another $200/credit. That's insane. When saving so much money there has to be a downside, right? Nope. MCC has a ton of articulation agreements with four years schools around New England to help you transfer in comfortably like University of New Hampshire, Southern New Hampshire University, UMass Lowell, etc.

Another way of saving money starts right in high school. If a student in NH is taking AP Courses in high school, certain courses offer college credits. So for $100 a student could potentially get four college credits. I walked into MCC already having 12 college credits and saved even more money that way.

The tuition at MCC is much more affordable than other schools in NH, there are online and classroom courses allowing great flexibility, and there are many groups and programs to make you feel like you belong to a great community.

Manchester Community College offers a wide range of classes. they are very flexible when comes to people's varying lifestyles, and allow you to make your own schedule. They even offer online classes. The teachers all have very interesting backgrounds, and all have something great to offer to their students. For instance, my environmental science professor was once the overseer of an entire fish hatchery, and my business professor began her career as an engineer, and found her love for business after entering the real estate field. This just strengthens the professor's abilities to be able to teach the students a little something extra about the world. Last, but not least, Manchester Community College is a place where you can begin the career of your dreams. It allows you to figure out who you are and what you want to do with your life. MCC offers so many student services to help the students along the way and to help create a positive experience for all of the students.

The biggest reason is financially, attending community college for at least two years saves an immense amount of money in the long run, having a significantly less amount of loans taken out. If you are a freshman and are unsure of the career path you wish to major in this is the most appealing and logical option for getting an education and being able to dabble in diverse subjects to get a feel for what you may want to go on to major in. If you are a parent with a degree in something that you aren't the happiest with this is a great option because you can continue to work at your current job while still being able to take classes on campus or online, at your convenience.
