Anonymous, Student, College of Southern Maryland, Class of 2018

A student should not attend College of Southern Maryland if they hesitate to put in the effort to complete all classes. A number of students attend school because it's "expected" by family members and peers. However, if the student isn't attending school completely for individual purposes then College of Southern Maryland isn't the right choice; because, the professors want students to learn in order to achieve educational goals, and complete courses without failing. Also, a student should not attend if they aren't willing to do all class assignments, because missing one assignment can hurt their individual grades. Additionally, if the student isn't opened to learning from multiple perspective than it would be difficult to grasp certain topics. At the College of Southern Maryland students learn how to go beyond the page, and expand their knowledge. I have a better understanding of so many things by learning from my professors and others. Therefore, if the student isn't opened to learning new things, than the person won't be able to receive the fullest amount of education and knowledge that the College of Southern Maryland offers.
