Size is one of the main reasons someone should attend USCA. Size is often times a huge factor when deciding on what school to attend. Many classes here don't exceed 40 people, which is a big issue at bigger universities. Class size also is important when it comes to the student success. A class with a hundred plus can be very distracting and things can often times be misheard and misinterpreted during lectures. It is also less likely to have one on one attention from professors. USCA's campus and class size makes this possible. The organizations and majors offered here cover a mass of options. Therefore, USCA most likely offers common majors and a mass of organizations that can interest anyone. Lastly, this school is incredibly diverse. This factor can't be stressed enough. Personally, this is one of the main reasons I decided to come to this school. Diversity allows for a more safe and enjoyable environment.

  1. The school is big enough to feel like college should, but it's also small enough to get one-on-one help from professors.
  2. Our cafeteria has good food from time to time.
  3. Everyone is pretty friendly here, so you'll make friends that'll last a lifetime...or a week.

(Has been in the top 3 for all 17 consecutive years) 2) The campus size makes everyone truly feel like a family. 3) The majority of the classes aren't very large, so students are able to have a better relationship with professors.

1.) On average the classes have about 20 people per teacher, where as in some universities the classrooms have to accommodate over 100 students per teacher. You're actually getting the attention you need at USC Aiken and the staff is hands on. 2.) USC Aiken is affordable. You have the small class sizes, the professors who actually want to help you learn, and you can still afford to eat! USC Aiken is half the price of some schools with more intimate setting. 3.) I feel safe at USC Aiken. Not only is this school accepting of new innovative ideas, the security is always in reach. You can walk around campus and know you're protected and that's one of the most important traits to me personally being a more night oriented student.

Three reasons to attend USCA would be if you like connecting with your teachers and having a personal relationship with them, if you like meeting friendly people, and if you like the peace and quiet of the country lifestyle.
