Yes! I think PLD is a good school with many opportunities offered. They have specialized programs, such as the Math, Science, and Technology Program, and special ED. Dunbar is a diverse group of individuals that have blended to form a healthy learning environment. The class sizes at PLD are larger so students have the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people. PLD also offers tutoring sessions with teacher after school every Thursday, which is an amazing free resource to have. In addition, PLD runs of a block schedule. I really enjoy this type of system because it gives the teachers more time to do lessons and activities as well as students the opportunity to get more help from teachers if they are struggling. This lessons the rigor of an already very stressful four years for most students.

Yes because there are many great educational opportunities there and the teachers seem to be interested in the students. Most teachers seem to enjoy what they do and are available to the students as needed.

Dunbar is a nice school but I wouldn't really recommend attending there. Only because there not organized. We have had a couple different principles in the last couple of years and things keep getting switched. Dunbar is suppose to be a health professional but only really offers one health profession which is E.M.T. Dunbar is not a bad school but it could be better once everything gets organized.
