The three most popular extracurricular activities at Union High School are the National FFA Organization (FFA), the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and track and field. I would highly recommend all of these extracurricular activities.
The biggest reason why I would recommend FFA and FBLA is because they teach students essential skills for life, such as job interviewing and how to give a presentation in front of a group. It also teaches responsibility because students have to have large presentations and projects ready by a certain date. In addition, these activities teach small but important things, such as physical appearance in business situations and what the best handshake should be like. All of these things help students success in life, and have more of a chance to succeed over students who did not participate in these activities.
I recommend track and field because it takes extreme determination and dedication to succeed in this. Athletes dedicate themselves fully to two or three events, such as sprinting or throwing. They must practice about five times a week for a couple hours each day during practice. Also, they must try their hardest and persevere even if they do not do as well as they had hoped to do. Even in tough conditions, athletes learn never to give up, and this stays with them in every aspect of life forever.
FFA, FBLA, and track and field are the most popular extracurricular activities at Union High School, and I would highly recommend all of these activities to everyone.
