There's no typical student at the University of South Alabama. Everyone comes from different backgrounds, and we all have our different quirks that make us who we are. In my opinion, a typical person shouldn't be defined by a social status, or anything else. A typical student should be able to stay true to themeselves when they leave their home.

A typical South Alabama student is always looking ahead of the game and doesn't hesitate to talk to professors and make new friends along the way. there is lots of walking across campus to class, but most students don't mind as the college takes great care of the grounds and it's usually a pleasant walk. there's also lots of studying in the awesome student center, fully outfitted with all sorts of food for long study sessions.

The average USA, student, is, above all, focused. No one comes to USA to party, they come to learn and grow for their future. The typical student also cares for his or her fellow students, and wants them to succeed as much as they want themselves to fulfill their goals.

I have definitely met a lot of people that like to stay fit. Since South Alabama is in the lowest part of Alabama, you definitely have to have some southern hospitality. People here are very kind and caring. You have your southern gentleman and your southern bells, but mostly we are wild! We like to do things outrageous and unexpecting. If you are the kind of person that likes to go out to an abandoned muddy area and go mud riding in the middle of the night, then you are all set.

There really is no "typical student". The key is to find your own niche and go with it. Any type of person should attend USA.

I'm not sure I can describe a "typical" USA student, but everyone that I've come to know during my time here puts in a great amount of effort into their studies, but when there's a break, we know how to sit back and relax. We're also professionals, in and out of the classroom; meaning, we treat everyone with dignity and respect, no matter where we are.

I don't really know what the typical University of South Alabama is like because I have yet to go, I have only applied and been accepted. I wish there had been some specification about that being necessary before I began filling these questions out, it just asked if I attend which I do since I have been accepted but I have yet to start my first class.

There is no such thing as a typical student. In a given glass you could feel both socially and sexually awkward like you did in middle school then in a different class feel like your apart of a music consort. Everyone's talking, getting to know each other and really down to earth. Most of the students at the University of South Alabama are the first in their families to go to school. The campus is small enough you get to know lots of people and your professors, but is big enough to have things to do.
