A person that is lazy, and doesn't have any goals in life, especially for achieving a higher education should not attend Miami Dade College because it is not a place for wasting time. Miami Dade college is a place for people with life goals, for students that are ready to study hard, and want to become professionals.

As a commuter college, Miami Dade already has a negative connotation attached to it. Therefore, we must recruit students who have drive and the desire to learn so Miami Dade College may continue to thrive as an educational institution.

Because they decided to go straight to a four year university and finish getting their education there.

If a student wants to live on campus and have a full on college experience, and has money for that type of college then Miami Dade is not for them. I mean Miami Dade can be for everyone, and it is open to everyone, but it all depends on what you want.

As I mentioned before, MDC is one of the most respected high education institutions of Florida, in fact is the biggest college of the United States, in such an important institution should not attend students who does not really want to learn make a better world and how to retribute to this country all the things that provided to us. To MDC should not attend the type of student who is always complaining and not figuring out solutions. To MDC should not attend the types of students that are part of the problem and not of the solution. But all the others students who really wants to go ahead and create a better future for them and their families and wants to work hard to achieve that, they should have the opportunity to attend MDC.

Students who are not willing to work hard and study should not attend Miami Dade College, because they will not be able to keep up with the amount of homework and class work that they have to do. Also, if students do not want to study they should not attend Miami Dade College because if you do not study you cannot pass your test and you will not learn.

Laziness. Sloppiness. Attitude. These will be not be accepted in the Miami Dade College environment. Slackers are penalized, poor work is graded as such, and tardiness will get you kicked out of your classes. At Miami Dade College, we’ll take anyone who can apply, but you have to be willing to pull your own weight. Proofread your work, review the material, and study up for tests if you want to pass any of our classes. Don’t waltz in expecting an A+, because here you have to work for an A+. You have to spend nights up late, you have to put off holidays, you have to forget what the word “free time” means! If you want to enroll at Miami Dade College, make sure you have the right mindset and attitude. We only take the best and brightest, not the lazy and dim.

Attending MDC is a large college however does not have much of a campus life, if you're looking for a campus expensive this is not the place for you. There are no firms, no fraternities or sororities and it honestly lacks the college experience .

If one is not willing to work hard for their education by showing up to class, paying attention (taking notes, staying awake, being attentive), and using the resources provided to them (department tutors, online simulations, textbooks), then they shouldn't attend Miami Dade College. Miami Dade's professors are interactive and lively. As long as a student is willing to put in effort, they will give 100% right back. So if a student is not a hard work, responsible, and determined, then MDC is not the place for them.

If you are a student who is not ambitious to achieve your goals you should not attend Miami Dade College. Miami Dade College gives students many opportunities to follow their dreams. If you are not passionate about your educational aspirations and have no intention of striving for greatness, then Miami Dade College is not the right school for you.

The type of students that shouldn't go are the kind that think they can cheat their way out of college and think that the fast way is the best way to do things.

Students who are not passionate and dedicated to their studies should not attend Miami Dade College. This college offers classes to people who are willing to give their best in every assignment, and do not take the failure of classes lightly. For some courses, you may have to have the knowledge of a previous class or take a test in the class to see if you qualify to remain in the class. With this example, I convey that Miami Dade College students are expected to be at par with the standards each class holds.

If your grades are good enough to get into any of the universities on your list, go. Universities don't give a lot of money to transfer students vs freshmen and not all of your credits will transfer to the school you transfer to depending on which school.

A student should not attend Miami Dade College if they are going to feel ashamed of not attending a university and cannot deal with their personal self-negativity.

The student that thinks Miami Dade College is an "easy ride", think again. The majority of my professors have their doctorate degrees, therefore they are requiring/expecting higher standards from the students.

A student who is narrow-minded, ignorant, procrastinates, and is not open to accepting and exploring other cultural beliefs and ideas.
