Would you recommend attending East Early College High School if you had the choice? Why or why not?

No, Because early colleges does get kids a head of the game. However it takes away two years of college that are essential for adolescence to mature.

In the past I would have recommended people to go to East Early College High School. Now, not so much. The school has gone down hill and many of the old good teachers are leaving the school. They are leaving because they do not like the administration, have a better opportunity, or are retiring. Plus, it sometimes it seems like my class, the class of 2016, is the last good class in the school attitude or grade wise. Most of the underclassmen are rude and and selfish. Compared to how my class was during 9th and 10th grade, the underclassmen seem to be doing much worse in their classes. So, problems with the school are the teachers are leaving, the administration sucks and the students who go there now are not as dedicated to their work as they should be. Yes, if you go there and graduate you can get an associates degree and possibly start college as a junior rather than a freshman, but that is not as important compared to the flaws of the school. Another thing is that the school is very disorganized and that causes students schedules to be messed up and then they cannot get the classes they want. This has happened to me before. So far, my entire schedule to graduate is messed up because I did not get two of the classes I needed. But, luckily there are summer classes available.
