Which 3 extracurricular activities at Nouvel Catholic Central High School are most popular? Which extracurriculars would you recommend?

Anonymous, Student, Nouvel Catholic Central High School, Class of 2016

The three most popular extracurricular activities at my school are NHS, Drama Club, and of course athletics. NHS, the National Honors Society, is popular because many students are proud to be part of the group and put on community service projects, dances, and two blood drives a year. Drama Club puts on the Fall play and Spring musical each year. Since my school is small, many people get involved and the end result is always wonderful. Athletics are also extremely popular. At Nouvel, it would be difficult to find a student who is not a part of one of Nouvel's sports teams at least one season a year. Although we only have about 390 students, our teams do well in competitions and always impress other area schools with our sportsmanship and spirit.

Some extracurriculars I would recommend include the SADD club, which puts on community events and is a positive force throughout the school, the Students for Life club, which takes a stand against abortion, and the Good Sportsmanship Committee which leads all Nouvel student athletes. Other extracurriculars include Spirit Club, Science Olympiad Team, Quiz Bowl Team, Student Government, and more.

One of my favorite things about Nouvel Catholic Central is the close-knit, family community that we have. This means that most of us students are involved in many of the extracurriculars listed above! These teams, clubs, and sports enrich our four-year experience at Nouvel.
