Los Alamos Public Schools provides preschool free of charge to children ages 3 to 5 who are eligible for special education due to disabilities or developmental delays. To find out whether your child qualifies, set up a screening by calling the preschool program office at 505-663-2208. A small number of children who are developing normally are also accepted into the program on a tuition basis to act as peer models. For more information, call 505-663-2208 or visit the disctrict's preschool website.

For help finding preschools in your area, try using Noodle's preschool search or seeing what Head Start programs are provided near you.
