The typical UAFS student is someone who likes the college experience, but wants a smaller school setting. Myself for instance, I graduated from a high school class of 26 people so the smaller class sizes at UAFS felt like home to me.

The student body at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith is a well diverse one. Physically, our student body is very good at accepting many types of peoples. However, I would say that most of the students that I run into are either traditional freshmen or sophomores or, like me, they are the nontraditional students who are older or have children. In general though, most of the students I meet are very hard working.

I have not met anyone attending the University, so I do not know, but I bet they would be smart. Considering the fact that they are college students. This leaves me to the conclusion that in order to get into and succeed in college would require intellectual abilities.

The typical person that attends Fort Smith is smart, however they tend to have a lot of untapped potential that they are not interested in using very much. Hopefully as time goes by the average person will learn how to effectively manage their self and be able to accomplish any goal they desire.
