Students at Tulane love to spend their leisure time going to the french quarter, exercising, and dancing
In addition to being known for our hard work ethics and passions for academics, students at Tulane are known for their love of fun. After long days of studying, students often flock to the infamous "The Boot," an 18+ bar nearby campus. Students also find joy in their heavy participation in extracurricular activities, whether it be involvement in an intramural sport, Greek life, or a volunteer organization. Another activity that students do for fun at Tulane is explore the city of New Orleans; as the city is vibrant with history, music, and overall, life with its constant need to celebrate, students are eager to see all it has to offer.
There is a lot of partying at Tulane, but students also enjoy eating delicious food and exploring the city.
Between studies, Tulane students will find fun immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of New Orleans, eating amazing food, and spending time on the Mississippi–between paddle boarding or throwing a frisbee on the banks.
You can find students playing sports on the various fields around the campus, or working out at the recreation center. You can also find students engaging in the many social mixers.
The top 3 things that students do for fun at Tulane is explore New Orleans, eat at one of the many restaurants near campus, and play sports.
Festivals/concerts such as voodoo and Mardi gras, club and intramural sports, going out to bars and restaurants to eat and drink
Tulane students do certain things for fun depending on the season. Since we live in New Orleans there are a lot of cool things to do. Mardi Gras and Jazz fest are in the Spring and are a great way to enjoy New Orleans culture. For the rest of the year we have all the bars on Bourbon street.
