Central High School is a college preparatory high school with rigorous courses. Students that get accepted to Central are either intellectually intelligent or students who work really hard. A typical Central student often complains about how hard a teacher is or how much the work load is. But in the end, at least half of the school is on honor roll which is amazing because of how big a school Central is. A person who should attend Central High School is someone with momentum to work hard and takes on the challenge. Someone who appreciates a variety of options for extracurricular activities. If the student can't find the club they want, they can create it. Which means someone who isn't afraid to be the first to make their dreams into reality.

A typical Central student is hardworking, friendly, and dedicated. The student body is very involved and we hold many state and national titles for Speech and Debate as well as UIL Academics. Every organization on campus creates a family rather than just a group, every group includes new members as if they had been apart of the organization for years.

Central students are typically accepting and friendly. We are all diverse when you look at our race and sexualities, but there isn't any discrimination no matter what you are. We all strive to get great grades and help each other out with work. Yet not everyone is like this and some will take advantage of other's helpful behavior, which i detest.

I would say Central High School does not have a "typical student." We have all ethnicities, all sizes, all of everything. One thing every Central student has in compassion to look past the differences and be friendly to everyone. Not many students are judgmental or bullies, we all look out for each other. Being a smaller school, everyone knows each other but it makes for a close knit school. To go to Central, you need to be willing to give everyone a chance.

It is hard to describe a specific type of student that would attend Central since Central is a highly diverse school. The thing about Central is that it is a huge school, with every single club that you can imagine, and if it's not there, any student can create a new club that interests them. However, Central is a difficult school with a rigorous curricular. Students who go to Central are creative, intelligent, open-minded, and ready to spend hours after school reviewing the day's classes.
