Would you recommend attending Seminole High School if you had the choice? Why or why not?

I would not recommend this school unless we change our location. Our school has been through some crappy changes, and they refuse to build a new one, so they've moved us to a tiny building in the center of town, and it's not an ideal environment for children to learn. We have to be bused back over for lunch, athletics, and myriad other activities.

I would recommend attending Seminole High School because of the many quality classes they offer. Their is literally a class for everyone at this school. Classes like, cosmetology where you can get your license before you graduate, nursing where you can obtain your required hours, auto tech, speech ad theater who often times win state competitions, and law enforcement class taught by a local police Chief and Lieutenant. With so many classes to choose from, even more than listed, one can start preparing for their future goals early on, and still have fun.

My feelings toward Seminole Senior High School are quite ambiguous. It is my second high school, and in comparison to my former high school in the California valley, it lacks the same cleanliness and professionalism. Some of my teachers clearly had no intention to further advance the education of their students which was quite unappealing to me since I love to learn (but I shouldn't penalize a couple others which put everything they had into their job by grouping them with their careless colleagues). Additionally, I thought the school had rowdy students with little to no respect for the campus. However, I found my stay at Seminole High to be quite relaxed and far less stressful than the last. My old school had a conspicuous pretension about it whereas Seminole has made me feel quite comfortable and like a classic high school pupil. Everything about it makes me feel like I'm still seventeen, whereas my old school felt like a race to be thirty with a high-paying career to pay for my $100,000 ivy-league education. So Seminole High School has been a blessing and a curse, and that is as much as I can say.

Yes I would because the school is very blessed in terms of monetary value. Every student receives there own personal laptop issued by the school. The teachers are very well educated and go out of their own way to teach their students very well. They care about their students and want the best education for their students. The environment as a whole is very friendly and outgoing with a slight touch of humor which is something schools don't have very often.

This will be my first year attending this high school and the reason I chose it was for the IB program. According to US news, Seminole has high math and reading scores. I hope to learn from the teachers and staff.
