Students who attend Claremont High are focused and put a large emphasis on academics and grades. It is important for a student at this school to also know how to have fun and relax. We at Claremont put school first, while still being involved in extra curricular activities such as sports and clubs. The AP and IB programs are very important to students and faculty and allow students to learn at a higher level with mostly great teacher. In this environment, students are like-minded in making education a top priority, which is a good practice in preparing for college.

Claremont High School is a place for all learners. Students who are driven and have the motivation to excel can take advanced classes at the AP and IB levels. Students who need extra assistance are able to take slower paced classes. The atmosphere is supportive without being stifling. Free after school tutoring is available. There are also many extra curricular activities available in a wide range of disciplines, from sports, music and theater, to debate, robotics and clubs, both academic and non-academic. There is not anyone who could not fit in at Claremont High School. The teachers are superb, as well.
