Most of our sports teams are very popular. I cannot recommend though since I have never tried out for them. I do recommend though that you join the choir class or one of the art clubs. They are great fun and really help improve ones skills.

The first extracurricular activity I would recommend would be marching band. I joined when I was going into high school and have made the best memories there. I've gotten close with a lot of people that I will not forget going into college. They have shaped my music career and have helped me to grow as a musician by constantly challenging me. The second extracurricular activity I would recommend would be French Club. This year, the group has grown larger and we are doing more things like hanging up signs for National French Week, putting together French food days, and even taking field trips to places like French restaurants around town and the Joslyn Art Museum. We are a tight knit group since some of us have been together since freshman year. The third extracurricular I would recommend would be College Possible. College Possible is a group for high school juniors and seniors only and is designed to help with college. Junior year, we work a lot with ACT and preparation for that by taking 4 practice tests. Senior year really focuses on college applications and scholarships. We have someone there to constantly review our essays to make sure they are suitable for submission.

Football, Marching Band, and Show Choir are the most popular extracurricular activities at my school. I would recommend GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) because it helps create a safe environment for all students no matter their sexual orientation at our school.
