To be perfectly honest, if the student likes a lot going on all the time, or is incredibly extroverted and easily bored, then UTA is probably not the campus for them. UTA is perfect for students who come from medium sized schools with really diverse demographics and prefer a nice social environment over a rowdy, delightfully chaotic campus. Also, if you're a football fan, this might not be the place for you, as we don't have a school team.

Someone who is all about diversity and learning new things from people who have different backgrounds than them, is someone who belongs at UTA. Because we are the 5th most diverse campus in the nation, diversity is something a true UTA student encompasses.

The student was fun, outgoing, and ambitious. They participated in many organizations such as Key Club. The ones that I knew were also dedicated to sports.

A University of Texas at Arlington student was mostly the same in high school, except less outgoing. A person who is outgoing, friendly, and interested in learning should attend the University of Texas at Arlington.

Mostly, a student who has lived in Texas for a long time is dedicated to his or her home. Such a student should be willing to realize his or her weaknesses and strengths in each school subject. One should not only be dedicated in education, but also in life and preparation for future endeavors.

At The University of Texas at Arlington, it is hard to say anyone is typical. Diversity is key at this University. Some students are rich, some are poor. Some are rude, and some are very kind. There is not just a "typical" UTA student.

Anyone who isn't really into the mega-party scene and just wants to come to school to learn something while making great friends that will last for life and help you succeed in ways you never would have imagined otherwise.

There are many different types of students at UTA, but the best way to experience UTA is to be open-minded, adventure-seeking, friendly. Everyone is usually very helpful and wants you to succeed

University of Texas at Arlington has commuter students. Therefore sense of strong united community at the University is lower than other Universities. But professors are very knowledgeable and requires much work from students, which is good in my opinion. If you are a person who sits in the back row and likes to sleep at the back row, this school is not for you.

People that are accepting of different cultures and beliefs, people that have a good sense of humor, and people that are intelligent and have either confidence or self-discipline (both are rare in one person but an amazing combination).

Average public school student. Not academically gifted, connected, or poor enough to get scholarships to Ivy League schools. Someone who wants a good education at a decent price.

Any kind of student should attend UTA. UTA is an extremely diverse university and that is one of the things I like most about it. But I would say most UTA students are committed to their studies and futures. They have great nursing and engineering programs. UTA seems to be working its way to becoming a research institution and I'm proud to attend.
