I don't believe that any extracurriculars are more popular than the other, but I do agree that Neuqua Valley has some incredible activities that I would recommend to anyone. One of my favorite, and one of the extracurriculars I have participated in since my freshman year is the Neuqua Valley Speech Team. It is an audition group, similar to the collegiate forensics team, where you either make up an impromptu speech, discuss politics, recite a speech that has already been given, or act in some of the improv categories. It's very beneficial because it improves your speaking skills and has definitely given me more confidence in front of large groups of people. Another "popular" activity I participate in at Neuqua Valley High School is the Music Department. The great thing about the music department is that everyone has the opportunity to be themselves and express who they are. We do a variety of different pieces of literature that we study, and we have the freedom to participate in multiple extra musical activities, as well, and there is a spot for everyone in the department, whether you prefer to sing, or play an instrument. And finally, I believe that no matter what sport it is, that all sports are highly favorited at my high school. Whether you're attending a typical football game, or a girl's volleyball final, you'll find the Neuqua Gold Rush, our school's pep squad in the stands, alive and attentive. There is something for everyone at Neuqua, but these three variety of extracurriculars is what I would say are considered the most "popular" at my high school.
