The second reason is that because campus is smaller it is easier to make friends. The University of South Alabama has tons of reasons to attend, but the top three would definitely be location, size, and opportunity. USA is located within the great city of Mobile, AL. Mobile is growing but is not extremely big. The university is also growing very rapidly, but is still small enough to offer a very personalized, singular education. Because of South's growing size, it is able to offer many opportunities to all of those who attend, from all aspects of education.

The first reason would be how academically challenging the curriculum is. Yes, it's hard, but they have excellent acceptance rates for post graduate programs. Another would be the diversity of students on campus. Regardless of your personality you're sure to find a friend group that suits you. A very common reason students come to South Alabama is its location. It is so close to the beach and you can wear shorts majority of the year.

One reason to attend South Alabama is that the faculty actually cares about your education. I switched to this institution for that reason alone. If that doesn't convince you, the campus is one of the most beautiful and updated in the area. My classrooms have top notch equipment to help you learn. Finally, a good reason to join this community is that it is just that, a community. People on campus seem to be less involved in themselves and more open to making the college experience a efficient one.

Anonymous, Student, University of South Alabama, Class of 2017

The top three reasons someone should attend the University of South Alabama is because of it's highly ranked medical programs, it's small class sizes, and it's phenomenal teacher's who really work to educate their students.

Anonymous, Student, University of South Alabama, Class of 2017

1) The location. We are in the heart of the south, so the staff and professors are welcoming and friendly. Also, we're close to the beach- which is perfect for a weekend getaway!! 2) The quality of the education. These professors don't play around when it comes to the curriculum. However, they are quick to respond to questions and are very thorough in teaching the curriculum. 3) The variety in students/professors. A large number of the students who attend USA are foreign. That being said, when we work in groups, it has been an eye-opening experience to see things from their perspective. Even just listening to their answers and ideas in class has given me a new perspective on their former homes and their ideas about those particular subject areas.
