The type of student that should not attend South Forsyth is one who doesn't care about their future. This person only goes to South for friends and they don't use the academics as something that furthers their career and they don't usually care about their future.

There isn't a specific student that should not attend South Forsyth High School. The student's and staff members are all very accepting of every type of student and makes them all feel welcome.

South Forsyth High School is increasingly diversifying as people move here from all across the country and from all around the world. With such a diverse population, it is important that we are all respectful and understanding of one another, as well as open-minded. With this in mind, a student who is unwilling to accept other people's differences, or in other words is narrow-minded, is not the type of student who should attend South Forsyth High School. Diversity is something that should be celebrated, not frowned upon, and a student who displays prejudice is not someone who should represent South Forsyth High School. Two other qualities that are characteristic of a South Forsyth student and complement each other are motivation and curiosity. South Forsyth prides itself in the achievements of its students and encourages students to excel both in and outside the classroom. Students who does not value their education and are not willing to engage in class and expand their knowledge are not the type of students who should attend South Forsyth.

The only student who should not attend South Forsyth High School is one who hates school. I have had at least one classmate each year who seems to be the antichrist of schools. This type of student disrespects the teachers, taunts his/her peers, constantly gets suspended, and tries to keep others from learning by disrupting class (i.e. class clown or pitching a fit).

As a South Forsyth student, I can speak for how diligent a student must be to succeed. An irresponsible student would not fundamentally prosper at this school. With the ever-changing leadership, lack of supplies and wide variety of classes, each individual must be responsible or their personal education. This school has many clubs and organization possibilities, an uninvolved student would miss out on a majority of the experiences South Forsyth has to offer. I am in multiple honor societies and clubs, although this is exhausting work, the memories made within the walls of South Forsyth High School will be forever cherished.
